AIA San Francisco Announces Selected Projects for the 2024 AIASF Home Tours
(San Francisco, CA) – AIA San Francisco (AIASF), in collaboration with the Center for Architecture + Design, is pleased to announce the 2024 AIASF Home Tours, an annual open house event featuring five residences designed by leading Bay Area architects will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
“In its 22nd year, the AIASF Home Tours program offers our community a deeper understanding of how exemplary architecture improves our daily lives. We invite curious minds to explore the evolving impact of design on the future of where we live and play with our family and friends" said Stacy Williams, AIASF Executive Director.
The AIASF Home Tours program is the first tour series of its kind in the Bay Area to promote a wide variety of architectural styles, neighborhoods, and residences—all from the architect's point of view. Projects are showcased via an open house format and tour participants view some of the region's latest projects from the inside out, meet design teams, explore housing trends, and discover design solutions that inspire unique ways of living.
This year’s selected projects feature residences in Pacific Heights (Addison Strong Design Studio), Bernal Heights (Craig Steely Architecture), Russian Hill (jones | haydu with Julia Campbell), Upper Terrace (Zack | de Vito Architecture & Construction), and Potrero Hill (John Lum Architecture).
AIASF Home Tours Headquarters will take place at the new Center for Architecture + Design located at 140 Sutter Street in San Francisco. A special evening Chef’s Loft Tour + Reception on Saturday, September 21 will conclude the full-day program. Additionally, festival attendees will be able to attend the 2024 AIASF Architects Forum on Thursday, September 19, featuring a panel discussion with the architects whose projects are featured in this year’s AIASF Home Tours.
AIASF Home Tours sample copy and visual assets are available on the MEDIA KIT.
